I discovered an innovative new product on Instagram called Frost Form, with only 2,000 followers at the time, and immediately recognized its potential to revolutionize cake decorating. The product was unlike anything I had seen in decades—a unique and premium offering that could set a new standard in the industry. I brought the idea to my executive team, and we quickly reached out to the creator to explore a partnership.
While the product was premium and priced accordingly, I knew we needed to make strategic adjustments to bring it to a retail-friendly price point for the mass market. I worked closely with the creator to ensure her original product remained premium, while we licensed her brand to create a more accessible Frost Form Starter+ line.
We launched the Starter+ line on Amazon, where it quickly became our top-selling product, achieving recognition as the #1 best-selling product in its category for several months.
